History

Watchmaker Denis Flageollet and industry veteran David Zanetta founded De Bethune in 2002 in L'Auberson, in the Swiss Jura. The house makes a few hundred watches a year and has developed more than 30 in-house calibres, with silicon and platinum balances and blued titanium as a visual signature. Zanetta sold his majority stake, and the brand now has four shareholders.
