History
Georges Schaeren founded Mido in Switzerland on 11 November 1918. In 1934 it launched the Multifort, a design that still names one of its lines. Today it belongs to the Swatch Group and sits in the accessible and mid-range segment of automatic watches, with long-reserve calibres.
